Solutions to common problems​

Error: Cannot find "ragemp_v.exe". Check if the name is correct and try again.

• Disable your antivirus or Windows Defender and then reinstall the RAGEMP client on the "C" drive.

Error: Failed to retrieve the install directory. Specify your game path now? Press cancel to terminate RAGE Multiplayer.

• Check the path to the licensed version of the game GTA 5 and remember it. After that, click on 'OK' and choose the path to your GTA 5 game.

Error: Cannot continue code because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is not detected. To fix this problem, try reinstalling the program.

• Try reinstalling RAGEMP.
• If that doesn't help, download this file - https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

Error: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005)

• Disable any antivirus software and try installing Rage Multiplayer again.
• If disabling antivirus still doesn't fix it, right-click on Rage MP and select "Compatibility Troubleshooting".

Error: Can’t join server... trying again

• Shut down your router for 10-15 minutes.
• If it doesn't help, connect to the server with a VPN

Error: *Undefinded 0*.

• RAGE MP conflicts with Windows 8 and 8.1, you will be able to access servers, but only after a few tries. We recommend that you change your Windows version to a different one.

Error: Dependent cursor in the middle of the screen.

• Enter story mode in GTA and press ESC > Settings > Mouse/Keyboard > Mouse Input Method > Set to "Raw Input".

Error: Nothing happens when you start RAGE.

• Disable your antivirus.
• If it is off, reinstall RAGE.
